World premier of Inlayers – the final product of 5 weeks of interactive dance creation! – An unforgettable evening of live music, visual art and dance.
- The old abandoned Ant Hill fabric store in Calgary’s historic Kensington district, will be transformed into a multimedia arts venue.
- Start the evening with drinks and delectable hors d’oeuvres as you take in the inspiring visual art installations of; Marissa Javier, Allan Stinson, Heather Smith, Kiarra Albina and Stephanie Bokenfohr.
- As you settle into the evening, enjoy a live music performance by the talented Montreal singer / songwriter, Ted Strauss.
- The evening will climax as you witness the world premier of Inlayers, deuxième partie. After following the team create online, now watch them live as they propel themselves through Taryn’s visceral, highly physical and compelling new work.
- Following the performance chat with the inlayers team in an open discussion among audience, dancers, choreographer and videographer.
